Overview: Mobile Bidding Tools

• During Advance (Self) Check-in: Encourage your supporters to preview items and begin bidding as soon as they've checked in online. When enabled, this mobile bidding tool adds a "Start Bidding" button to the Self Check-In Confirmation page.
   
• At Gala Check-in:  Invitations to bid can be auto-sent to each guest as they check-in at your Gala. Even if invitations have already been sent to launch pre-bidding, enabling this feature allows your front desk staff to confirm check-in with the message: 

"You're all checked in - and we've just sent you a fresh invitation to bid. Previous invites will still work - but this one will be at the top of your inbox. . ."

• The Send Invites page allows your team to send invitations to one or many ticketed and non-ticketed supporters, or all supporters who have not yet been invited. This page also allows click editing for updating emails and phone numbers and visible date stamps for each invitation sent.
  
  If a supporter is having trouble receiving or accessing emails on their phone, the Send Invites page also has tools to send a SMS/Text invite, or provide immediate access by scanning a QR code or entering a short code. 
  You also have the option of sending all Invitations to Bid via Bulk SMS/Text messaging.

• Include QR codes on Item Description sheets: Provides bidders quick access to the bidding interface for any specific item.

• Browse by Master Category, with breadcrumbs: Adds another level of navigation to your catalog to make it easy for your supporters to find the items they're most interested in bidding on.  
  
  When this option is enabled, bidders can drill down to fileter items:  Master Categories > Item Categories > Items (eg Experiences > Family Friendly > Zoo Tickets).    The filter path (breadcrumbs) are provided as links at the top of the screen to allow bidders to quickly jump back to previous levels.
• Choice of Item Displays: You can choose a specific view for desktop and mobile displays or you can choose the starting view, then allow visitors to your site to switch views as desired:

• SMS/Text Outbid notifications can catch a distracted bidder's attention more effectively than an email or an app screen that isn't being looked at.
   
• Your event night team can Place Proxy Bids and Check Bid Status  ticketed guests who do not have access to their email, a smartphone or simply need assistance.
   
• Projected Displays provide live updates (and can remind socializing guests that others are still bidding!)

• The Online Bidding Dashboard provides easy access to multiple tools: Manually launch, close, and extend closing times for bidding groups, monitor mobile bidding, enable or disable auto-awarding of items, adjust online/mobile notification settings, send self checkout invites, and bulk process credit cards.

• Request or Require a Stored Credit Card prior to bidding: Enabling this feature adds a credit card form to the Signup to Bid form and Invite to Bid/Vote welcome screen - particularly useful if you are encouraging supporters that won't be attending  the gala to join the mobile bidding from afar.
• Extend Bidding on the fly:  Sometimes even the best laid plans go awry - this tool will extend the online closing times of all your items by the time increment you select - with just two clicks - from the Auction Night Tasks > Online Bidding Dashboard screen.
