Storing Credit Cards Prior to Online Bidding/Virtual Bidding/Voting
You can request or require a stored card prior to online bidding, virtual bidding, or voting.
Enabling this feature adds a credit card form to the Signup to Bid form and Invite to Bid/Vote/Virtual welcome page.
To Set Up Pre-Storage:
Go to Site Settings > Customize Your Site > Payments/Credit Card > Online Payment Options. Use the dropdown menu next to Stored Card Settings to choose whether you want to Request or Require credit card storage, then click Save.
Card Storing Form Displays
Signup to Bid:
Optional (Request) or Required (Require) is displayed at the top of the Card Storage section of the Signup Form.
Invite to Bid/Vote Welcome Screen:
When card storage is set to Required for Signup, users must store a credit card to complete the signup process and proceed to the Bidding Screen to begin bidding.
