Placing Proxy Bids (Acorn/Plus/Professional)
Acorn/Plus/Professional subscribers can place bids or votes, make donations and/or purchase items for users who need assistance during an online auction, mobile bidding, voting contest or virtual event.
To place Proxy bids for users needing assistance:
Tip: Online/Voting Tasks Section will not display on your Auction Night Screen unless at least one "online" feature is enabled and visible to the public: Online/Mobile bidding, Voting Contest and/or Virtual Event. Each feature is enabled by checking the first checkbox in their respective Site Settings.
- Go to Auction Night > Bid/Purchase for a User
- Search and Select the desired User Record.
- Search and Select the desired Item, Cash Donation Item, or Vote Contestant
- When the desired "item" is selected, the appropriate bid/buy/donate/vote options will display.*
- Specify option/amount, then submit
- Review banner message for confirmation
