Online Bidding Dashboard

The Online Bidding Dashboard on the Catalog page is the best place to monitor your online auction. (For Acorn, Plus, or Professional subscriptions, it can also be accessed from the Auction Night Tasks screen.)

The dashboard allows event chairs to easily confirm setup, track bidding by group, bidder, or item, and make real-time adjustments during the event.

To Access the Online Bidding Dashboard:

All chair users can access via the Online Bidding Dashboard button in the upper right of the admin view of the Catalog page:

If your subscription includes Mobile Bidding Tools (Acorn/Plus/Professional), the Online Bidding Dashboard can also be accessed from the Auction Night Tasks screen:

The Online Bidding Dashboard is divided into three sections:

  1. Online Bidding Groups: Monitor bidding progress on silent online items by group.
  2. Tabs: Click the tabs in the middle of the page to track Most Active Bidders, Most Active Items, Items Without Bids, and Awarded Items/Winners.
  3. Manage Online Bidding Groups: Trigger actions and make real-time adjustments to bid settings.(For more details on actions and bid settings, see information below.)

Manage Online Bidding Groups provides two-click options to:

  • Launch bidding (click on link to override opening time to NOW)
  • Close bidding (click on link to override closing time to NOW)
  • Extend bidding (click on link, then choose the length of time to add to the current closing time)
  • Re-Launch (as long as items have not yet been awarded, closed bidding groups can be re-opened for bidding using the Re-Launch link, then choosing how long the bidding should be extended for.
  • Award (click on link to trigger awarding of closed items to high bidders)

*Note that the above are "smart" options:  Labels update to reflect current states and valid operations. (For instance, the Award links only display when 1) bidding has closed and 2) Auto-Award is "Off".)

Buttons on the right provide options to:

  • Send Custom SMS/Text Messages (Plus/Premium)
  • Send Invitations to Self Check-out to ALL gala guests and online bidders with open orders and email addresses. Triggering invitations from here also adds a shopping cart icon to the Smartphone Bidding nav bar - which allows winners to review their purchases and pay, even without the emailed invitation.
  • Bulk Process credit card charges for all Open Orders with Stored credit cards (Acorn/Plus/Professional only).
  • View/Edit Bidding Settings from a single pop-up window.
  • View Will Call Report.
