Creating a Voting Contest (Plus/Professional)

 Note: The Voting Feature requires a Plus or Professional subscription. More information about upgrading your subscription can be found here.

Voting Contests have both global and contest specific settings:

  • Global settings apply to ALL voting contests and can be edited at Site Settings >  Events > Voting Contests > Voting Settings
  • Settings for specific contests are edited by clicking on the Contests tab in the Nav bar.

To Edit Global Settings

Go to: Site Settings > Events > Voting Contests > Voting Settings

Note: Restricitng bidding/voting removes all Sigup links to bid or vote from your site.

To Create a New Voting Contest

Because it’s usually easier to edit an existing contest than to create one from scratch, we recommend using one of the available contest templates.

To choose an existing template:

  1. Click Create from Template.
  2. Select the desired template.
  3. Click the Edit icon to continue setting up your contest.

Edit Contest Name and Times, then Add Contestants:

Edit Pricing/Vote options:

Choose to report results based on Vote Count or Amount Raised:

Add custom text or embed videos on Voting Page:

Space is provided at the top of the Voting page for adding your own text, images, and videos.
