"Undo" Check-in
This article describes how the "Checked-In" flag can be removed to allow bidder numbers to be changed or linked/unlinked.
Once a guest has checked in, their bidder number is locked. This means the bidder number cannot be changed, and the guest cannot be linked or unlinked to another guest until the check-in is undone.
Important! Before undoing check-in - confirm that the guest has not placed any bids or made any purchases using the original bidder number. Additionally, if you have distributed bid paddles, you'll need to collect and destroy the original bidder number.
To "Undo" Check-In:
Go to: Tickets page
- Click on the Edit icon
- Choose Edit "Guest Name", Next
- Uncheck the box next to"Guest Checked In?"
- Click on "Update Selected User" button to apply changes.
"Undoing" check-in simply removes the flag blocking bidder number edits. It does not remove guest details or a stored card added during the Check-In process.
