Q: How Do I Add Buttons (Links) to My Homepage?
- How can I change the text of the Catalog link?
- How do I make the Contests button visible to the public?

A: You can customize which buttons and links appear on your homepage —both in the Header (the Navigation Menu at the top of the Homepage) and in the Quick Navigation Bar (the middle section of the Homepage) and rename them to suit your needs.
Below are step-by-step instructions for adding, removing, or editing the text for each one:
Catalog Link (Header)
To Add or Remove the Catalog link in the header:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Items > Catalog > Catalog Settings
- Check or uncheck the box next to "Catalog Link in Header"
- Click Save.
To Edit the Text for the Catalog link:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Items > Catalog > Catalog Settings
- Update the text in the "Catalog Link Text" field
- Click Save.
Contests Link (Header)
To make the Contests link visible to the public:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Events > Voting Contests > Voting Settings
- Check the box for "Make Voting Contests visible to the public"
- Click Save.
*Note: The Contests link is always visible to Chair/Admin/Staff/Volunteer users for setup purposes, but it won’t be visible to the public unless this setting is enabled.
Contribute Link (Header)
To Add or Remove the Contribute link in the header:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Events > Fundraising Campaigns > Campaigns > General
- Check or uncheck the box next to "Display Contribute Link in Header"
- Click SAVE
To Edit theText for the Contribute link:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Events > Fundraising Campaigns > Campaigns > General
- Update the text in the "Contribute Button & Link Text" field
- Click Save.
Donate Item Link (Header)
To Add or Remove the Donate Item link in the header:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Items > Catalog > Online Item Donation Form
- Check or uncheck the box next to "Display Donate Item Link in Header"
- Click Save.
To Edit theText for the Donate Item link:
- Update the text in the "Donate Item Button & Link Text" field
- Click Save.
Signup Link (Header)
To Add or Remove the Signup link in the header:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Registration > Signup > Signup Settings
- Check or uncheck the box next to "Display Signup button and links text"
- Click Save.
To Edit theText for the Signup link:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Registration > Signup > Signup Settings
- Update the "'Signup' Button Text" field
- Click Save.
Online Registration - (Buy Tickets) Link (Header)
To Add or Remove the the Buy Tickets link in the header:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Registration > Tickets > Online Ticket Sales
- Check or uncheck the box next to "Turn on online ticket sales?"
- Click Save.
To Edit theText for the Buy Tickets link:
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Registration > Tickets > Customize Registration Forms
- Update the "Buy Tickets Button and Link Text" field
- Click Save.
*Note: The button will only appear if tickets are available for sale and a payment processor is connected.
To Add or Remove any of the Quick Navigation Section Links (Middle of the Homepage) - (Catalog, Buy Tickets, Contribute, Donate Item, or Signup)
Go to: Admin > Site Settings > Customize Your Site > Look & Feel > Homepage
- Scroll to the "Quick Navigation Section"
- Select or deselect the links you’d like to display (Catalog, Buy Tickets, Contribute, Donate Item, or Signup)
- Click Save.
