Selling Tickets at Check-in

You can flag the ticket types you want to sell at the door so they are available to purchase on the Check-in screen.    

Tickets purchased at Check-in are placed in the guest's shopping cart for payment at Check-out. Payment can be accepted/processed at the time of purchase by using the "Pay Now" button on the confirmation screen.

To flag Ticket Types to sell at check-in:  

Go to: Site Settings  > Registration > Tickets > Ticket Types  > Add or Edit > Check "Sell at Check-in" box and Save.

Tip: We recommend having at least one comp ticket type available to sell during check-in as an easy way around problems with pre-purchased tickets and/or for unexpected attendees.

Tip:  Issuing ALL tickets at the door is slow and often results in long check-in lines.  If you do not charge admission for your event and have a spreadsheet (from a directory or past event) of the majority of your supporters, you can import the potential guests as $0 ticket holders to speed up your Check-in process. (Ticket imports are not available with Acorn subscription.)

Tip: You can also flag items you would like to offer for purchase at Check-in.
